About this Project
This refurbishment in conjunction with a Joinery Contractor on the main bell tower at the National Trust’s Belton House. The main bell and hanging cradle where rebuilt. Isolated structural joinery repairs where completed ready for us to complete timber resin repairs to areas not suitable for traditional splicing, and timber infill repairs were all shaped and carved to match existing timber features. The entire tower was then machine sanded in various grades and refinished in a fully microporous paint system matched to the Trust’s original Belton Beige colour.
